Strangers to Reason: LIFE Inside a Psychiatric Hospital, 1938

As the sibling of a special needs brother, mental health awareness has always been at the top of my priority list. I’m glad that society has come so far from the 1930s, but considering how hard it is to still get services — in one of the most friendly states to special needs children and adults — we still have a long way to go.
